About AcroScore:

AcroScore is a system for authoring documents and managing the information that is returned by readers. It is intended for assignments, quizzes, surveys, and other forms where information from the reader is solicited. It’s based on software that can be installed for free.
AcroScore builds on the professional-level typesetting provided by LATEX and Adobe PDF, adding macros for defining fields that solicit responses by readers: multiple-choice questions, free-text entry, numerical entry, and so on. It provides simple web-based services for collecting, collating, and grading the responses submitted by readers.
The AcroScore system has two main components:
• A set of LATEX macros for producing PDF documents with data entry fields.
• Server software that collects, collates, and grades the responses that readers submit and allows authors — but not users — to view the information. The server software was designed with two main situations in mind: a classroom setting with students submitting answers to homeworks or exams, and a survey situation with readers submitting their responses anonymously.
